Minutes of Meeting for November 17, 2016

1.       Call to Order:   Iles W., began the meeting at 9:30 am with the Pledge of Allegiance followed by us all singing God Bless America.   Iles and myself in accord with Carol and Larry presented Edna with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a certificate of thanks and lifetime membership in SCRCR for her beautiful birthday cakes that she has made for us throughout SCRCR’s lifetime.  Thank you again Edna so much for the thought and most of all the love you put into each cake!
Iles also reminded us to get to either him or one of the board members, your choice for “Person of the Year” to be awarded at the first meeting of the New Year which is rapidly approaching.
2.       Host/Hostess:  Barb L./Susan D.   There were 43 in attendance this morning and we saw that Richard R. and Steve K. were in attendance with their “scooters” to help them both mend from their respective foot and ankle surgeries.
